You join the mission by partnering with us to reach people who are far from God, so that they may find Hope in Christ and make disciples who, in turn, make disciples.
You Join the Mission by:
Serving on a ministry team (Step 3 of our Discipleship Pathway).
Becoming a faithful giver of your finances. When you give to God through Hope Church, you help us fulfill our vision of empowering a discipleship revolution that will take the Hope of Christ to those far from God.
Joining a Go Team. Building relationships with those outside the faith will help them know and grow in a relationship with Jesus. We are called not only to be disciples but to make disciples who make disciples.
Matthew 4:19 says, “Follow me,” he told them, “and I will make you fish for people.” A true disciple is committed to Jesus' mission of being “fishers of men.”
Go Teams are the primary outreach ministries of Hope Church. Click on each one for more information.
What is Alpha?
We believe that everyone should have the opportunity to ask life’s big questions.
What is my purpose? What happens when I die? Why is there suffering?
Alpha is a 10-week course designed to help you ask these questions and explore the Christian faith in a fun, no-pressure environment. Each session includes a short film and a discussion period during which you can chat with a small group of people like you about your thoughts and questions.
This is a great place for you if you want to learn and discuss more about the Christian faith, or if you have someone in your life that you want to explore these questions with!
The Outreach Team focuses on building relationships with those in our community who are far from God or who do not have a relationship with a local church. We are scheduling biweekly visits to local apartment complexes, as well as hosting special events. If you are interested in outreach or would like someone to contact you, please use the Contact Us button below.
The journey of grief is never easy, which is why we believe you shouldn’t go through it alone. Every other Thursday at 6:00 p.m., we host a grief support group that provides a safe and encouraging space for you to share your grief story. It starts on August 7th.
This revolving six-week series is for anyone who has experienced loss. Regardless of how much time has passed since your loss, this weekly gathering will offer experience, strength, and hope. The 6-week series will be continually repeated, and you can join at any time. When the series is complete, you can take a break or stay involved and continue to give and receive support through this journey of grief as long as you desire.
Walk-ins are welcome, or you can sign up for more information.
Do you like to pray? Do you have a burden to see lives changed at Hope Church and in our community? If so, then join us on Monday nights from 6:30 to 7:30 for prayer. A prayer guide will be given to you to help you know what to pray for, but you are free to pray as the Spirit leads you. If you have questions about the Monday night prayer time or would like someone to contact you, please use the Contact Us button below.
You become a faithful giver of your finances by giving regularly and sacrificially. We strive to be a generous church with generous people. When you give to God through Hope Church you help us fulfill our vision to empower a discipleship revolution that will take the Hope of Christ to those who are far from God.
Giving honors God and puts Him God first in our lives with our finances. Generosity is an act of worship that expresses our gratitude, faith, and love for others. God provides for the ministry of Hope Church through your generosity. Your gift allows us to bring the message of Hope to Oconee County and beyond.
